It is with a heavy heart that we announce that Ultra Refrigeration Limited has entered into administration. After twenty-two years in business, we are incredibly proud of what has been achieved since our founding as a limited company in two thousand and four, delivering specialist refrigeration and cold-chain solutions to a wide range of industries across the United Kingdom and Ireland. We would like to sincerely thank all of our staff, customers, and suppliers for their support, loyalty, and hard work over the last two decades. The business has been built on their commitment, expertise, and trust. However, the reality is that the current economic environment has become unsustainable. A combination of rising National Insurance contributions, increasing business rates, continued increases in the National Minimum Wage, and unprecedented energy costs has placed enormous pressure on our business, while simultaneously reducing our customers’ ability to invest in new equipment and capital projects with Ultra. This is a deeply disappointing outcome for everyone connected with Ultra. We remain extremely proud of our achievements and the projects we have delivered over the past twenty-two years. Our thoughts are with our employees, customers, and partners at this difficult time. Further updates will follow in due course.
