The University of Hertfordshire, a centre for astrophysics research, approached Ultra with a unique challenge. They required a specialised stasis cabinet to house a ring laser gyroscope; an extremely sensitive laser measuring device crucial for advancing the accuracy of survey astronomy.
Ultra’s team of engineers meticulously designed a stasis cabinet for this very purpose with a focus on temperature stability. Thermoelectric elements were strategically integrated into the cabinet’s structure to achieve a high temperature precision.
